From break dance stardom in the world renowned S.P. Crew to military service on the border of North and South Korea, Ryun endured a wild and turbulent ride before landing an apprenticeship in the underground tattoo scene of Seoul. Equipped with the skills he’d learnt under the needle of one of Korea’s most exceptional tattoo artists, Ryun then ventured to New Zealand where he was discovered by Hamish Mclauchlan who immediately recognised Ryun’s potential. A year later Ryun’s work has already established itself among NZ’s most reputable talent with his distinct style and immaculate execution.
