Auckland Tattoo Artist Hal Cheshire spent over a decade Tattooing amongst the wealth of talent of Melbourne’s tattoo heroes. Most notably Japanese open weight, multiple world title holder Evan Griffiths at Grey Street Tattoo. After embarking on an Australian tour as guitar frontman for salient hardcore outfit RMVLST, Hals wanderlust would propel him towards international tattoo conventions including UK’s Brighton Convention and the infamous GoodGuys Convention in Winnipeg Canada. In an effort to escape the relentless Melbourne lockdown scene of 2020, Hal ran the Trans Tasman gauntlet only to find himself trapped in another severe lockdown in Auckland, New Zealand. Hal is now the undisputed South Pacific Lockdown title holder with 307 days in an 11 month period.
